Welcome to Digital EV Doctor (“Digital EV Doctor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Digital EV Doctor website, applications, software, diagnostic tools, content, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. About Digital EV Doctor

Digital EV Doctor provides digital information, tools, resources, diagnostic assistance, educational content, and/or other services relating to electric vehicles (“EVs”) and automotive technology.

Depending on the Services you use, Digital EV Doctor may provide information relating to vehicle faults, diagnostic codes, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, charging, battery systems, vehicle systems, and other automotive matters.

The specific Services available to you may vary by country, vehicle, subscription, account type, product, or service plan.

You must be legally permitted to use the Services in your country or jurisdiction.

If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

5. Diagnostic and Automotive Information

Digital EV Doctor may provide diagnostic information, recommendations, explanations, procedures, fault-code information, troubleshooting guidance, or other automotive information.

Vehicle systems, software, batteries, high-voltage components, charging systems, and other EV components can involve significant safety risks.

You should not perform a repair, modification, diagnostic procedure, electrical procedure, high-voltage procedure, software change, or other work on a vehicle unless you have the appropriate knowledge, equipment, qualifications, and authorization to do so.

Where appropriate, you should consult a qualified automotive technician or other suitably qualified professional.

6. No Guarantee of Diagnostic Accuracy

Although we seek to provide useful and accurate information, Digital EV Doctor does not guarantee that any diagnostic information, recommendation, fault-code interpretation, repair suggestion, estimated cause, or other information will be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your particular vehicle or circumstances.

A diagnostic result or recommendation may depend on information supplied by you, vehicle configuration, vehicle software, model year, region, equipment, environmental conditions, previous repairs, and other factors.

Different faults may produce similar symptoms or diagnostic codes.

You remain responsible for independently verifying information before taking action.

7 Safety

Vehicle repair and EV systems can be dangerous.

Electric vehicles may contain high-voltage electrical systems and components capable of causing serious injury, death, fire, or property damage if handled incorrectly.

Digital EV Doctor does not authorize you to perform any procedure that you are not legally, technically, or professionally qualified to perform.

If a vehicle presents an immediate safety risk, including smoke, fire, overheating, damaged high-voltage components, electrical hazards, battery damage, or other dangerous conditions, stop using the vehicle where reasonably safe to do so and contact an appropriately qualified professional or emergency service.

8. Third-Party Services and Providers

The Services may contain links to, integrations with, or referrals to third-party websites, workshops, mechanics, service providers, software, products, or other services (“Third-Party Services”).

Third-Party Services are operated independently from Digital EV Doctor.

Your use of a Third-Party Service may be subject to that provider's own terms, policies, warranties, and privacy practices.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Digital EV Doctor does not control and is not responsible for the availability, quality, accuracy, safety, performance, or conduct of Third-Party Services.

Any agreement for repair, maintenance, inspection, parts, software, or other services entered into with a third party is between you and that third party.

9. Vehicle Manufacturer Disclaimer

Digital EV Doctor is an independent service.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Digital EV Doctor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or otherwise officially connected with Tesla, Inc. or any other vehicle manufacturer.

Vehicle manufacturer names, trademarks, logos, model names, diagnostic codes, and other identifying information may be referenced solely for identification, compatibility, educational, or informational purposes. All such trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing on the Services should be interpreted as an official manufacturer service instruction or representation of an affiliation with a vehicle manufacturer.

10. User-Submitted Information

You may provide information to us, including vehicle information, diagnostic codes, photographs, descriptions of problems, messages, feedback, and other materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant Digital EV Doctor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, store, and display that content as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, improve, secure, and develop the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You represent that you have the right to provide the User Content and that doing so does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights

11. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Recommendations

Some Digital EV Doctor Services may use artificial intelligence, machine-learning systems, automated tools, or other technologies to generate or assist with diagnostic information, recommendations, explanations, or responses.

AI-generated or automated information may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate conclusions.

You should not rely solely on automated information when making decisions involving vehicle safety, high-voltage systems, repairs, modifications, or other potentially hazardous activities.

12. Intellectual Property

The Services and their contents, including software, designs, text, graphics, logos, databases, documentation, videos, educational materials, and other materials provided by Digital EV Doctor are owned by or licensed to Digital EV Doctor and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, license, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

13 Payments, Subscriptions, and Purchases

Certain Services may require payment, a subscription, or the purchase of a product or service.

Where applicable, pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation terms, refund policies, and other commercial conditions will be presented to you before purchase or subscription.

You authorize us or our payment provider to charge the applicable fees using your selected payment method.

Unless otherwise stated, taxes, duties, or other applicable charges may be added to the advertised price where required by law.

If you subscribe to a recurring service, your subscription may automatically renew until cancelled, subject to the terms disclosed at the time of purchase and applicable consumer law.

14 Refunds and Cancellations

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any mandatory refund, cancellation, withdrawal, warranty, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

  • the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free; or
  • the Services will be suitable for every vehicle, situation, or purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or statutory right that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Digital EV Doctor and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Services.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses relating to vehicle damage, repair costs, loss of use, loss of data, business interruption, loss of income, or other economic or consequential losses.

You acknowledge that using diagnostic information or performing vehicle-related work based on information obtained through the Services involves inherent risks and that you are responsible for decisions you make based on such information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digital EV Doctor and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Services;
  • your User Content;
  • your violation of another person's rights; or
  • your misuse of diagnostic information or Services.

This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.
